Western Australia's Margaret River Gourmet Escape is Coming Soon

South Western Australia’s prime wine growing territory, Margaret River, is gearing up for its annual three day culinary extravaganza, Gourmet Escape. Billed as one of Australia's greatest food events in a top culinary destination against a stunning back drop, this looks set to be one not to miss.

Gourmet Village forms the buzzing centre of the festival set in the spectacular grounds of the Leeuwin Estate Winery  with a packed agenda of masterclasses and cooking demonstrations from some culinary greats.  Satellite Events abound outside of the village with a catalogue of one off unique events. Highlights include:

Audi Gourmet Beach BBQ A relaxed BBQ on the stunning Castle Bay Beach.
Dining on the Jetty  with Rick Stein and his son Jack Stein.
Godfather Dinner at Vasse Felix with  Marco Pierre White and his protégés.
Feast in the Forest A unique 'farm to fork' dinner set amongst the trees.

This year’s star line-up looks set to be an impressive gathering of both local and international cooking and celebrity talent including the likes of British celebrity chef Rick Stein, Chef Marco Pierre White, Michelin starred Sat Bains from UK and Australian Masterchef judge Matt Preston.
