Suffer from post-Christmas blues? Why not cheer yourself up by checking out the restaurant weeks happening in some of the biggest cities in the US and Canada in January next year.
Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco and Vancouver are just a few of the cities that'll be throwing their hat in the ring when it comes to discounted dining come the new year.
Hundreds of restaurants across these cities will be offering prix fixe menus to tempt new diners across the threshold of places they've only dreamed of trying, for either lunch or dinner or even both!
So if you have a wish list of places to try, why not try ticking them off the list in January 2019. Here's what's on, where and when:
US Restaurant Weeks 2019
Center City Restaurant Week
13 to 25 January 2019
Restaurants across Center City in Philidelphia will be offering three-course dinners for only $35 per person during their restaurant celebration. You can also get your fill at lunchtime when many restaurants will also be offering up a selection of $20 three course menus.
San Diego Restaurant Week
20 to 27 January 2019
Over 180 restaurants will be rolling out a special menu to celebrate San Diego restaurant week which takes place over eight days. Check out some of the best restaurants in San Diego to set your pulses racing in anticipation of which top spots you'll be snagging.
San Francisco Restaurant Week 2019

150 of the city's restaurants will be taking part in San Francisco's restaurant celebration offering up prix fixe lunches and dinners. In the meantime, check out the newly Michelin-starred restaurants across the city.

Dine Out Vancouver 2019
18 January to 3 February
Hundreds of restaurants in the eclectic West coast city will be rolling out prix fixe brunch, lunch and dinner menus as the city goes to town with a packed 17-day schedule of culinary events. Guided dining adventures, neighbourhood food tours, spirited cocktail masterclasses and global guest-chef collaboration dinners are just a few of the additional food bonuses on offer.
