S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino Invites You For A Special Lunch

The Sixth edition of theS.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino 2012 is nearly in full bloom along the beautiful hills and lakes of Ticino, Switzerland. As part of the event, more than 20 of the world's best chefs will take up residence in the finest restaurants from Lugano, Ascona and Mendrisio to show off their cooking skills.

As part of their commaderie, the high-caliber chefs will be able to participate and enjoy a series of events, including nine dinners, two special fish dinners, lounge events and three lunches. The first of the gourmet lunches which will be held 21st April and will be hosted by Italian chef Matteo Pellini at Ristorante Villa Saroli in Lugano (in the picture). Matteo is known for his refined Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, which appears as art on a plate. 

The next grand chefs to host lunches will be  Hagen Riedel and Lorenzo Albrici. Hagen will open the doors of Seven Easy  restaurant in Ascona to visiting chefs on 5th May.  A week later on 12th May, Lorenzo will play host at Locanda Orico  in Bellinzona. 

S. Pellegrino Sapori Ticino 2012 will host its closing ceremony 20th May at the Grand Hotel Eden in Lungano. All of the food will be prepared by local chefs who aspire to showcase their culinary skills by cooking with high-quality local ingredients.
