S.Pellegrino Celebrates The 68th Cannes Film Festival
S.Pellegrino will sparkle at the 68th Cannes International Film Festival with an exclusive dining table featuring the cuisine of Michelin-starred chefs.
From the 13th to the 22nd of May, S.Pellegrino will sparkle once again at the 68th Cannes International Film Festival with an exclusive temporary dining table and a guest list featuring movie celebrities from all over the world.
Every night during the Directors’ Fortnight (la Quinzaine des Réalisaterus), an array of renown French chefs will take over La Cucina S.Pellegrino and offer their own interpretation of Italian cuisine with tailor-made menus.
Chef Jacques Chibois (one Michelin star - La Bastide Saint-Antoine in Grasse) from Provence, will delight the guests with typical dishes from the French Mediterranean tradition, as will Chef Ronan Le Kerrec (two Michelin stars - Château de La Chèvre d’Or in Eze Village).
To complete the list of chefs from the Riviera, Nicolas Navarro (current manager of the five-star palace Cap d’Antibes Beach Hotel, Les Pêcheurs Restaurant and Le Cap beach restaurant) will adapt his cooking to enhance Italian flavors. As for the Parisian chefs, Chef Stéphanie Le Quellec (one Michelin star - La Scène de l’hôtel Le Prince de Galles in Paris) will come and present her signature dishes famous for their creativity and innovation. Chef Cyril Lignac (one Michelin star) will come and share his love of bistro-style food and pastries, and Michel Roth, who used to oversee the kitchens at the Ritz, will revisit a couple of great culinary classics. Chef Mauro Colagreco (two Michelin stars - Mirazur in Menton), of Italian and Argentinian heritage, will complete the picture and bring an interesting personal twist to the interpretation of the theme.
S.Pellegrino has been an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival since 2010, and La Cucina is yet another way to reaffirm the brand’s love of fine food and the Italian dolce vita.
In fact, the elegant sparkling water has been a long-time feature of the silver screen, since its first appearance in Federico Fellini’s La Dolce Vita (1960), before conquering the films of Billy Wilder and Woody Allen. Over the last five years, the red-star water bottle has redesigned itself in a special Festival edition, to add a sparkle to official lunches and celebrations.
