European Food Summit 2020
Join industry leaders tackling the big issues like "food for future's good" at this annual event in Slovenia.
The European Food Summit returns to Ljubljana in from 28 to 30 March 2020, continuing to raise awareness of the global impacts of food and highlighting the importance of the individual in tackling Europe's sustainable future.
Top chefs, scientists and internationally renowned journalists and individuals will convene in the Slovenian capital for three days to tackle food culture, diversity and sustainability and take action and make the world a better place.
Named #European Gastronomic Region 2021, Ljubljana is a culinary destination in its own right boasting the arrival of international culinary guides, Gault&Millau as well as the famous
Michelin Guide. What's more the country serves as a fitting location for talks on Sustainability given that Slovenia is one of the countries which waste the least food and its inhabitants support local production.
What's On
As part of the three-day event speakers and the invited foreign journalists will be introduced at Slovenia's leading restaurant, Hiša Franko, before embarking on the Gourmet Ljubljana Crawl, and dining experience.
The full-day symposium will unfold on the final day where a line-up of speakers will take to the floor curated by Ana Roš and Andrea Petrini, as they teach, inspire and encourage the audience to think and work towards a better and sustainable future.
The event encourages members of the public to attend, regardless of profession, but sharing the same passion.
We'll keep you posted with the speaker line-up once announced!
