Eric Ripert and Friends Cook the Caymans

Eric Ripert and friends José Andrés, Emeril Lagasse, Dominique Crenn and Emma Bengtsson are just a few of the world-class chefs headlining the 11th star-studded annual Cayman Cookout from 16 to 20 January at The Ritz Carlton in The Grand Cayman.

For those looking for winter sun and gourmet fun come the new year, this is the perfect opportunity to combine both. Fine dining against the spectacular backdrop of Seven Mile beach, sublime cocktails and wine make these the four unmissable days in the gourmet calendar.

This year's highlights include:

Metamorphosis of Taste: Join Dominique Crenn, fresh from winning 3 Michelin stars for her San Francisco restaurant Atelier Crenn, and experience her “Poetic Culinaria” first hand. 

Swedish Cuisine under the sun with Emma Bengtsson: The two Michelin starred Swedish Chef from Aquavit in Manhattan will be kicking off her shoes and introducing diners to Swedish cuisine drawing on her childhood memories growing up in a small fishing town. 

Rum: How to be a pirate in 90 minutes with Charles Joly: The World Champion bartender will be diving into the wonderful world of rum - participants get a custom set of bar tools to take away as a keepsake.

Barefoot BBQ: Don your shorts and sandals for this backyard BBQ adopts on Seven Mile and dine under the stars as Chefs Eric Ripert, José Andrés and various other local and internationally acclaimed Chefs grill on the beach. Hand-crafted cocktails, live music, and sweet creations by Chef Jean François Suteau top the evening.

The Great Gala:  Go all out on the final night as chefs Eric Ripert, José Andrés, Dominique Crenn, Yann Lejard, Emma Bengtsson, Amanda Cohen, Thomas Raquel and Thomas Seifried cook up a storm in honour of the final night of the festival.
