Immersive Theatrical Dinner Celebrates Roald Dahl and The Twits
Author Roald Dahl's most heinous characters, The Twits, will help celebrate 100 years with suitably terrible nights of gruesome fare and eye-popping cocktails.
London duo Bompas and Parr are the creative brains behind another jaw-dropping food event later this year, in celebration of 100 years since the birth of author Roald Dahl with a theatrical dinner held in London's Vaults chez The Twits.
Billed as both the 'most exclusive' and 'worst dinner' you're likely to experience we wouldn't expect anything less in honour of Dahl and his two fabulously gruesome children's characters whose culinary delights extended to worm spaghetti and beard pickings.
Teaming up with the culinary team are theatre specialists Les Enfants Terribles who will set the scene for the immersive evening where guests will enter into a windowless squalid hole in Waterloo doubling up as The Twits home for the evening.
Fans of children's author will have the chance to revert to their childhoods and reminisce at the hands of the gruesome duo during 90 minutes of post dinner entertainment "from the worst hosts ever."
If it all sounds a bit much to swallow, with pricey tickets to match, stiff cocktails will be served to take the edge off, although you'll have to fish out the glass eye first before the rest of the perilous courses arrive.
