What's on at this Year's Berlin Food Art Week

Combining food and art to promote positive change in our world

If food is art, get ready to embrace your inner artist in none other than the city of cool at The Berlin Food Art Week. Taking place in venues across the German capital from 7 to 14 July, this year's exploratory theme is "vs meat."

In the annual festival dedicated to all things food and art a spread of exhibitions, performances, food art and parties with a conscience are promised, including a special focus on food sustainability, animals and human rights and environmental-social-economic issues.

What's on at Berlin Food Art Week

Over 20 exciting events, exhibitions, performances, dining experiences and workshops are planned to gather together famous, as well as young and upcoming contemporary artists.

Visitors will have an entire week to discover the "intersection between the wide panorama of modern and contemporary art and the increasingly popular (healthy) food culture in Berlin."

In festival dedicated to opening a dialogue between art and food this is doubtless one event to offer a new perspective and interesting reflections on food consumption today.
