This week some gardening of a rather different kind took place in London as a team including award winning cake designer Rosalind Miller built the world’s first edible garden made from cake.
It took over 450 hours to make and as you can see from the video below, each flower, all 250 of them, was hand crafted out of one of 15 different types of cake.
Who hasn’t wanted to stand and literally devour their sweet surroundings? Take a look as thousands of biscuits, hundreds of marshmallows and even edible ivy leaves are turned into a garden.
The event was created to promote the new book by Carole Matthews, The Cake Shop in the Garden.
