What happens when six second graders from a Brooklyn school sit down to sample the tasting menu at Daniel Boulud’s Daniel restaurant in New York.
The New York Times decided to find out and invited a group of children to dine inside the Michelin starred restaurant, a dinner where dessert instantly becomes the central topic of conversation.
Daniel is by far one of the fanciest restaurants in New York and it’s great to see the shock and excitement the children display as they enter.
Watching Boulud explain the dishes is hilarious and seeing their reactions to tasting caviar for the first time is very funny.
One kid eats nothing until the dessert arrives and none of the children seem so impressed with Boulud’s pasta dish.
