Food and fashion, they seem to marry in perfect harmony, perhaps it’s the seasonality, the colours, the expression, whatever it is, the world’s of food and fashion meet often and pair well.
We’ve done our own Dress the Plate project at FDL and the latest chef to step into the fashion spotlight is the two Michelin starred Bjorn Frantzen from Sweden with this collection of edible fashion.
Working with designs by Polo Ralph Lauren, Valentino, Chloe, and Diane Von Furstenberg as inspiration, Frantzen has reinterpreted some of the Spring fashion with mainly edible ingredients.
One suit jacket is fashioned out of cork screws, a dress is painstakingly recreated using macarons and what look like marshmallows.
