Chef tattoos are being pushed to the limit by two Italian designers who've developed I Tradizionali, a set of temporary tattoos that contain illustrated recipes. It's the perfect marriage of food and body art.
Marina Cinciripini and Sarah Richiuso developed their recipe tattoos last year for a design competition in which they came in second place. "The project is a combination of our two biggest passions, cooking and illustration. The goal is to help people approach good food in a fun way," Richiuso told NPR.
I Tradizionali recipe tattoos are designed to fit on your forearm. They come in packages of four and cost about $14. Each package contains seasonal recipes with step-by-step illustrations. The ingredients and quantities are listed in both English and Italian.
