You’ll need 10 different ingredients and a good few days to make your own kimchi but once you tried it you’ll be hooked.
The dish requires lacto-fermentation and for that the cabbage must be soaked for 24 hours in a brine before the next ingredients are added. It’s this process of fermentation that gives the dish that wonderful tangy hit.
