Every so often, a new word enters the lexicon of foodies. On this ocassion, that word is gastromory, a play on the words gastronomy and memory . The term was coined by Indian food photographer Kunal Chandra and it refers to the memories created by food.
To bring gastromory to life, the talented photographer launched an online photographic newsletter that features vivid photos, along with anecdotes, cooking advice and recipes. The first edition of Gastromory focuses on fresh produce, chocolate, wine, oysters, knives and much more. The mouth-watering pictures alone will make you a fan.
Kunal's photography has been featured in magazines, newspapers and websites from around the world. He has photographed the famous Danish chef Rene Redzepi, whose restaurant NOMA topped the list of the World's 50 Best Restaurants list in 2012.
