We introduced you to New York-based knifemaker Chelsea Miller a while back, and in a new video for Business Insider, we get to learn a little more about the creative process behind Miller's craft.
Miller's handmade knives are used by some of the world's best chefs, including Daniel Humm and Massimo Bottura.
She's originally from Vermont and the unique thing about Miller's knives is that they are made from old horseshow rasps, used for filing down hooves, so almost all the knives have a grate on the side.
Her knives cost from $200 to $800 for the largest chef's knife and each takes three days to make, with a wait of three to six months to get your hands on one. Expensive yes, but considerably cheaper than these knives forged from meteorite metal.
