Acclaimed French chef Anne-Sophie Pic, the only woman in France to be awarded three Michelin stars, will open two restaurants in Manhattan next year, the New York Times reports.
The first will be an outpost of her Monaco restaurant Metcafé to be located on the ground floor of 510 Madison Avenue. The other will be a “relaxed yet formal” restaurant located on the second floor of the building. The latter will be a branch of her Paris restaurant La Dame de Pic.
The chef runs Maison Pic in Valence, France, Anne-Sophie Pic Restaurant in Switzerland and recently opened a casual restaurant called Daily Pic , also in Valence.
Back in 2011, Pic had the honor of receiving the The Veuve Clicquot World’s Best Female Chef Award, which is part of the World’s 50 Best Restaurant awards sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.
