Food art comes in all shapes and sizes and we get to enjoy a lot of it at FDL HQ. We honestly thought banana art had reached it’s limit with Jurgen Steenwelle but recently we’ve been marvelling at these amazing food art creations from Stephan Brusche, aka iSteef.
The Instagram food artist posts lots of work and although it’s not all banana related , the yellow fruits do make up a majority of his pieces. These are more than mere drawings on the outside of the fruit, with Brushe often carving and using the banana to create little scenes. One piece depicts an elephant with the white of the banana acting as the tusk, another shows a snail’s path as it zigs across the banana.
