When you are an A-list celebrity who happens to love wine it's no longer enough to host a lavish dinner party or have an impressive wine collection. How would that compare to actually owning your own vineyard? It seems that's the thing to do in Hollywood nowadays.
With celebrity wine labels are on the rise, we wanted to take a look at which stars have lent their names (and reputations) to wine rather successfully. Here is a list of rising celebrity wine labels to keep on your radar:
One of Hollywood's most famous couples, the Jolie-Pitts own a 1235 -acre vineyard in Provence. They've just launched their Miraval rosé which sold out online in just a matter of hours. They are also working on the launch of a white wine in the near future.
Last year this actress, producer and Hollywood darling added winemaker to her resume. Her Barrymore pinot grigio wines are produced in the Triveneto region of Italy and have been well received by the public. She's hinted at producing wine in France or Argentina in the future.
This Hollywood hunk owns a Tuscan winery that produces Bedford Post wine, named after his Relais & Chateux property in New York. His lush 2007 Brunello di Montalcino was rated 92/100 by Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
While this Grammy-award winner doesn't quite own a wine label, he is collaborating with Robert Mondavi to produce a Napa Valley wine to hit stores next year. Expectations are high for this one.
