Chicken
140g Thigh fillets
Wheat flour

Eggs

20g
Ketchup
20g Paprika Ketchup
Lettuce
2 leaves

15g Red Onion Pickles

Learn how to make Troigros' signature 'ticken panko' from Tom Ticken, in the step-by-step recipe below. It's a succulent deep-fried chicken sandwich, complete with breaded drumsticks, red onion pickles, organic Roman lettuce and smoked paprika ketchup. 

Step 01

Season the chicken with salt and black pepper.

Step 02

Set up the breading station by placing all-purpose flour, beaten egg and panko each in a separate container.

Step 03

Roll the chicken in the flour and shake to remove the excess flour. Then pass through the egg and finally the panko.

Step 04

Check the frying oil temperature and make sure it's between 160 and 180 degrees.

Step 05

Fry the breaded chicken for three minutes and ten seconds.

Step 06

Drain, lightly salt.

How to Assemble

Put paprika ketchup, red onion pickles and lettuce on the bread lid. On the base place the chicken.

Close and enjoy.
