The stir-fry sauce recipe is very simple to make at home and with a little creativity you can create many delicious variations, including pork stir fry and egg fried rice.

The stir-fry sauce gives wok-fried dishes a pleasant umami flavour and an irresistible oriental aroma. Even simple vegetables seasoned with stir-fry sauce will take on a unique and unforgettable flavour. You can prepare the stir-fry sauce in advance and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. In this way, you will always have the stir-fry sauce to hand. Just remember to always shake it before using it. Here is the recipe for stir-fry sauce.

How to Use the Stir-Fry Sauce

Once ready, stir fry sauce is very simple to use. Sauté your favourite vegetables, chicken strips, fish fillets or rice, and when they have formed a pleasant crust due to the Maillard reaction, blend with the stir-fry sauce to flavour.

How to Thicken the Stir-Fry Sauce

The ingredient that allows stir-fry sauce to thicken is corn starch. If you prefer a thicker sauce, add more cornstarch and, conversely, if you prefer a slower sauce, decrease the amount.

Preparing the Stir-Fry Sauce for Immediate Use and Storage

If you do not have time to prepare the stir-fry sauce in advance, you can also prepare it at the moment of use. Blend all the ingredients and add the stir-fry sauce to the wok or pan with the main ingredients. The intense flavour of stir-fry sauce is its main feature and can only be obtained with one or two days of rest in the refrigerator.

The Stir-Fry Sauce is Gluten-free

All the ingredients for the preparation of the original stir-fry sauce recipe are gluten-free and therefore suitable for coeliacs. However, be careful to choose a soy sauce suitable for this type of diet.

Where to Buy Stir-Fry Sauce

Preparing stir-fry sauce at home is really very simple, but if you don't have time to do it, you can buy it in the most well-stocked ethnic food shops.
