Sichuan Beans with Ginger and Garlic
Sichuan style beans are an easy vegan appetizer with garlic, chili and soy sauce

ingredients
Oil
2 tbsp. peanut
Beans
450 g, Chinese long beans
Garlic
2 cloves, chopped
Ginger
piece, fresh, peeled, grated
Chili pepper
1 tbsp, paste
Soy
1 tbsp, soy
Sugar
1 pinch
Cilantro
fresh leaves
Preparation
Cut the beans into 5 cm/2 " lengths.
Heat the oil in a large wok or skillet, add the beans and stir-fry for 3 minutes or until they start to soften.
Add the garlic and chili paste and fry for 30 seconds then stir in the soy sauce, sugar, salt and ground black pepper.
Garnish with cilantro.
