After a two-year hiatus, the James Beard Awards are back, and its media awards have delivered some truly worthy winners across all categories.
One of the biggest winners on the night was Kristina Cho, who won the Baking and Desserts award for her debut cookbook Mooncakes and Milk Bread, and the Emerging Voice award in the books category.
Brandon Jew and Tienlon Ho won in the Restaurant and Professional category with their book Mr. Jiu’s in Chinatown, while another hugely popular winner on the night was Alexis Nikole Nelson, known as @BlackForager, for Social Media Account. The San Francisco Chronicle's Soleil Ho won the Craig Claiborne Distinguished Restaurant Review Award. Below you can find the full list of the 2022 James Beard Media Awards winners:
