TV chef, cookbook author, and feel-good food pundit, Tom Kerridge made Michelin history when he became the first chef to receive two Michelin stars for a gastropub, his The Hand and Flowers in Marlow.
Kerridge has since opened a portfolio of places - with his merry band of pirates, as calls his staff - the HOF's sister pub, The Coach in Marlow, The Bull & Bear in Manchester, Kerridge’s Bar and Grill in London, and The Butcher’s Tap in Marlow (his own butchery). He has even launched a food festival: Pub In The Park.
Kerridge's kitchen career kicked off in country houses and hotels across Gloucestershire before he moved to London to work with the likes of Philip Britton, Gary Rhodes and Steven Bull, from whom he learnt and grew his skill-set. Later he became the head chef of Adlards, a Michelin-starred fine-dining restaurant in Norwich, before opening his Marlow gastropub in 2005.
