If you like your spice and want something to give a kick to your drinks then take a look at this spicy sprit called Menjurje de Ancho Reyes by William Grant.
The company claim their peppery drink is “inspired by a 1920s era recipe found in the town of Puebla de Zaragoza”.
The liqueur, which clocks in at 40% ABV, is supposed to be drunk neat but Geoff Kleinman who reviewed it for Drink Spirits says that it's actually best when mixed with tequila.
Kleinman goes on to add that the drink is the drink presents a peppery flavor in a natural way.
