The company claim their peppery drink is “inspired by a 1920s era recipe found in the town of Puebla de Zaragoza”.
The liqueur, which clocks in at 40% ABV, is supposed to be drunk neat but Geoff Kleinman who reviewed it for Drink Spirits says that it's actually best when mixed with tequila.
Kleinman goes on to add that the drink is the drink presents a peppery flavor in a natural way.
