Something new is being planned upstairs at the one Michelin-starred NoMad Hotel in New York but co-owners Daniel Humm and Will Guidara are saying nothing.
A new website called NomadUpstairs.com has appeared online with a mysterious video and a countdown timer. The beautifully shot video explains that a new experience is coming upstairs at NoMad with eery shots of red cloth falling down a stair case, old typewriters and spooky style pictures you’d expect to see in a horror movie.
The duo were revealing nothing at Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants ceremony in Singapore last night, when asked exactly what they are planning they wouldn’t say, only telling people to wait for the next video.
The second video will be released today, hopefully revealing a little more about what they’re planning with a third vid released on March 17th. It seems the video is scattered with clues as to what the new experience might be, but as of yet we can’t decipher them.
Any ideas?
