On 28 March, Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura will open in Seoul, and the menu is ready and waiting. Have a look at the dishes guests can expect at the new restaurant.
Located on the top floor of the Gucci Goak flagship store in the district of Itaewon, the restaurant's menus have been developed by Massimo Bottura, Karime Lopez (executive chef at Gucci Osteria Florence), together with Seoul executive chef Hyungkyu Jun and head chef Davide Cardellini.
The à la carte menu will include Gucci Osteria signature dishes such as the 'Emilia Burger' and tortellini with Parmigiano Reggiano cream. There will also be creative takes on Italian-centred dishes and new seasonal Korean-inspired creations. These will include 'Seoul Garden' and 'Summer in Adriatic'.
“There is an invisible thread that runs through each of the Gucci Osteria globally: one that entwines Italian food with the food and produce of other great global cuisines. Korea - like Italy - embraces its food as part of its culture, and I’m so excited to welcome everyone to our Seoul outpost,” said Bottura in a press release.
