Dominique Crenn
French chef, author, activist and visionary, Dominique Crenn is the co-owner and chef of the three-Michelin-starred restaurant Atelier Crenn, French bistro, Petit Crenn, and wine bar, Bar Crenn, all of which are located in San Francisco.
Crenn was the first female chef in the US to receive three Michelin Stars and has become well known for her French-influenced poetic food as well as being one of the early chefs to remove meat from the menu.
Both inside and outside the kitchen Crenn is a committed advocate of equality and change as well as sustainability and environmental issues. She was awarded the World’s 50 Best Icon Award 2021 in recognition of her role as a ‘true culinary leader giving a voice to the under-represented’.
