Le Fooding Paris will celebrate its 15 years of existence with a huge three-day affair featuring top chefs Danny Bowien, Ludo Lefebvre and many others.
Le Fooding and S.Pellegrino Celebrate “La Revanche des Faubourgs”
The trendy food guide Le Fooding is turning 15 years old this spring. For the occasion, a big international event of Parisian flair will take place with a music and food theme: la revanche des faubourgs (the revenge of the districts). A reference to the early days of the guide amidst the best fine dining addresses of the rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine without forgetting to encourage the promotion of more independent culinary experience, always associated to the world of contemporary art.
The best of the Fooding “world” will gather around to share the Fooding’s gigantic birthday cake on June 5th, 6th and 7th. The full program of events has not yet been disclosed. However, here are a few of the appointments to nibble on while waiting for the complete listing of events during those three festive days:
Friday, June 5th, from 7 p.m. ─ Foodstock
The 8th edition of the gourmet-musical festival Foodstock, Jameson and Le Fooding are joining forces and will welcome guests at the La Rotonde Stalingrad campfire. Do not miss a full line-up of musical acts complete with scrumptious food made by chefs from London, New York and the Parisian districts (Marc Grossman of Bob’s Bake Shop, Michael Greenwold from the Sunken Chip, Katsuaki Okiyama of l’Abri and Shay Ola of Death by Burrito). A total of 800 people are expected around the site’s brasero, the tickets cost 35 Euros and part of the proceeds will go to charity.
Saturday, June 6th from 7:30pm ─ Grand Fooding S.Pellegrino
Fifteen years after its first partnership, Le Fooding and S.Pellegrino continue to walk hand in hand to celebrate a very special anniversary with “Le Grand Fooding S.Pellegrino”.
In the heart of the Puces de Saint-Ouen, la crème de la crème of the food and music world will gather at Paul Bert Serpette and Ma Cocotte Restaurant. The long list of renown chefs include Iñaki Aizpitarte (Le Chateaubriand and Le Dauphin) Bertrand Grébaut (Septime and Clamato), Tatiana Levha (Le Servan), Simone Tondo (Roseval), Delphine Zampetti (CheZaline), James Henry (Bones) and Louis-Philippe Riel (Bistrot Paul Bert).
Dance to the rhythms of notable musicians such as Nancy Whang (Brooklyn, NY), Superpitcher (Paris) and Philippe Zdar (Paris). The event’s poster was created by designer Stephane Trapier of the Théâtre du Rond Point. Prices start at 40 euros, for a total capacity of 2500 people, part of the proceeds will go to charity.
Sunday, June 7th 2015, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. – The Pure Brunch Nespresso
Le Fooding and Nespresso will host a brunch prepared by the London bakers of St John’s Bread & Wine, in the glamorous Hotel Amour in Pigalle. As a bonus, the food designer Marc Bretillot will tattoo, engrave and stamp each product with intricate little details. Ticket fees: 26 Euros. Maximum capacity: 200.
Sunday, June 7th from 7.30 p.m. – Le Priceless Souper
In partnership with MasterCard, Le Fooding will host a « bourgeois » type dinner, a classic French menu topped with exquisite Chablis wine. This unique event will take place in the historical Lapérouse restaurant, and to match the quality of the location, the most extravagant chefs have been asked to participate: James Lowe (Lyle’s, London), Danny Bowien (Mission Chinese Food, San Francisco and Mission Cantina, NYC) and Ludo Lefebvre (Trois Mec, Petit Trois, L.A.). 100 euros – Limited seating: 52

If you want to participate in this music and food-crazed weekend, get ready to book your Fooding “package”: available for 100 Euros per person to attend Foodstock on June 5th, the Grand Fooding S.Pellegrino on June 6th and the Pur Brunch at the Hotel Amour on June 7th.
The package also includes the 2015 Fooding Guide as well as a S.Pellegrino priority access badge for both evening and the possibility to attend the Grand Fooding S.Pellegrino an hour before the rest of the guests.
