Going behind the scenes at a Michelin-starred restaurant is always a thrill. This video is no exception. It offers a wonderful peek inside Atelier Crenn, the two Michelin-starred San Francisco restaurant of chef Dominique Crenn.
Crenn, known for her artistic dishes that blend food and nature, shares her philosophy for designing "poetic cuisine." It all begins with a poem she writes for every season. She explains, "The way I connect with the world is nature, poetry and art."
Aside from a visual tour of Atelier Crenn's stunning interior you'll get to meet some of the restaurant's talented staff.
The highlight of the video is a gorgeous dessert created by pastry chef Juan Contreras featuring pine leaves, mint and a plate that looks like it came from the forest. Take a look:
