Le Fooding 2012: Food Trucks and Bubbles in Paris

Paris is geaing up for the Le Fooding, an offbeat food and music event. This year, Le Fooding will celebrate gourmet food trucks, or délicatrucks as the French say. The event, which is sponsored by S.Pellegrino, will be hosted at the city's Fine Arts Center on and will see the release of next year's Le Fooding restaurant guide, which recommends the best places to eat in France.

On the 9th and 10th of November Le Fooding will host the “La pompe à bulles et les délicatrucks,” aka The Sparkling Water Cooler and Food Truck event featuring some of the best trucks from France, Europe and New York and chef Christophe Pelé (one of Le Fooding's favorite chefs). Although the event will feature the elegance of  white-glove dinner service, the food being prepared will be eaten without forks or knives: just with your fingers!

The food trucks participating at the event will be: La Porchetta, a rotisserie truck from Copenhagen, Pizzamobile from Marseille, and Café des Spores Brussels. In from New York, will be the Morris Grilled Cheese Dessert truck which will serve grilled mascarpone, honey and apple.

The food truck event will feature two dinner services (at 7pm and 9:30pm). The entrance fee will be 30 euros per person. All proceeds will be donated to the Children of Congo charity through a partnership with Bethany S.Pellegrino. Reservations may be made at the Le Fooding website.

As a bonus, the November 12th Le Fooding Restaurant Guide 2013 will be launched at an exclusive ceremony held at the Beaux Arts center. The guide, which features everything from burgers and vegan food to dim sum, will be available for purchase on November 15th.
