We talk a lot about the idea of pairing wine with food at FDL and now we're looking at what seems to be quickly taking over as people's first choice drink, beer.
We all know that wine and cheese can pair perfectly but the same can also apply to pairing beer with cheese.
Take this infographic from Red Envelope as an example. It lists a whole cross section of cheeses from sharp cheddars to sheep's milk cheese and some of the blue ones. It then lists correlating beers that pair well with each cheese.
So, if you're chosen tipple is an IPA go for the Farmhouse Cheddar, if your prefer the Belgian Ales opt for the washed rind cheeses.
