Dubai might be a city known for its ambitious building projects and world class shopping but that would be to overlook its cosmopolitan dining scene with equal culinary kudos. Famous world class chefs like Marco Pierre White, Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, Yannick Alléno and Wolfgang Puck are just a few of the culinary greats to have graced the city with their names.
The city's latest noteworthy culinary addition comes from three Michelin starred Annie Féolde, with new Italian restaurant, The Artisan.
Taking an international leap from her historic Florence flag ship restaurant, Enoteca Pinchiorri to Dubai's iconic downtown Burj address, Annie Féolde's elegant, contemporary Italian restaurant will boast the same modern and innovative Italian food that earnt her her name in Italy.
A look inside the restaurant promises casual fine dining with Italian sourced interiors, right down to the crockery and cutlery.
Whilst The Artisan, may be a long way from its Tuscan roots in the city of renaissance, the restaurant promises comparative Italian excellence on the plate. The kitchen will be overseen by Executive Head Chef Luca Tresoldi, under the guidance of Annie Féolde, serving an eclectic menu using imported quality Italian produce.
Diners in search of a taste of Italy will be transported to the old continent with mouthwatering '36 month old parmesan cheese with a generous dash of seasoned Modena balsamic vinegar, slow cooked octopus with The Artisan’s exclusive homemade olive oil, fresh variety of delicious pasta dishes, Hamburg rooster, salt crusted sea bass and Annie Féolde ’s famed revived tiramisu.'
The Artisan will naturally boast one of Dubai’s finest wine collections, hand-picked from the Enoteca Pinchiorri s home grown wine cellar by Chef Feolde's husband and viticulturist, Giorgio Pinchiorri.
