It’s lists galore at the moment as Elite Traveller, The Daily Meal and a whole host of other publications release their round up of the best restaurants around the world. In June we have the announcement of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants List and in May the James Beard Foundation will publish their selection of the best chefs and restaurants in America.
To help us all make sense of all these list Business Insider have compiled the results from a whole mix of lists: The Daily Meal's 101 Best Restaurants in America 2015, OpenTable's 2015 Top 100 Hot Spot Restaurants in America, The World's 50 Best Restaurants, the James Beard Foundation's 2015 Restaurant and Chef Award Semifinalists, and TripAdvisor's Travelers' Favorite Fine Dining Restaurants.
Restaurants were given a ranking depending on how many of these lists they appeared on and how highly they ranked on them. These results were collated and a new list of 44 of The Best Restaurants in America was created.
Number one on the list was Eleven Madison Park followed by Alinea and Per Se in third.
