Here’s a seriously philosophic video from Ferran Adria as he discusses his current fascination with the blurred distinction between food and science and how the two are often misunderstood.
Adria presented the talk at the Museum of Science in Boston with over an hour of ideas, questions and arguments offered to the audience from the chef.
There’s also an inspiring and somewhat epic video that looks back at the history of elBulli presenting some of the biggest occasions in the restaurant’s history with a number of dishes and creations set to what sounds like the latest Batman theme tune from Hans Zimmer.
Adria also goes into more details about the Bullifoundation and some of the other projects he’s working on at the moment, mainly the understanding the topic of science and cuisine and a confusion with some of the dialogue that’s used to explain cuisine and science.
