Dominique Ansel is at it again. The celebrity pastry chef - and inventor of the Cronut - has collaborated with Belgian chocolatier Neuhaus to produce gourmet chocolates, The Daily Meal reports.
Ansel's pralines feature a ''chocolate ganache made with roasted peanuts on a layer of caramel à l’ancienne, enrobed with a creamy milk chocolate'' according to a description on the Neuhaus website.
The pralines form part of a luxury box set that includes chocolate treats developed by eight other world-renown pastry chefs including Oriol Balaguer, who previously worked at elBulli.
Each box of Haute Patisserie retails for $45 and includes 27 chocolates (3 from each chef).
