Chef Ferran Adria claims he would like the actor Robert Downey Jr. to play him in the upcoming elBulli which will focus on the chef's life and work at the worlds famous elBulli restaurant in Spain.
In an interview with Metro the chef said: "Robert Downey Jr. would be good ... He loves eating, he's a great actor, he's been in some fantastic films, he's about my age."
Details of the movie have remained scarce with Adria hinting at a May 2014 release date. Previous rumors had linked the actor Javier Bardem to the leading role.
The elBulli restaurant closed back in 2011 after years dominating the culinary scene. At the time of closing it had three Michelin stars and had five times topped The World's 50 Best Restaurants List.
Adria is currently working on establishing the elBulli Foundation on the site of the former restaurant in Roses, Spain.
