We see some pretty random projects at FDL HQ and it seems that when food is involved these projects often seem completely out of this world.
The latest project to give us that feeling is this art installation from Zeger Reyers. Reyers has basically created a kitchen with what looks like a giant spinning hamster wheel with a kitchen inside.
Shown at the Eating the Universe exhibition the kitchen is first used normally with a person inside who begins to cook. Once the guests have filled the room and the cook has started all his work he leaves before the kitchen quickly begins to decay.
In the end the kitchen itself becomes a big blender and crushes all of it's own utensils. The idea is the play with the idea of change and decay in relation to food, watch the video to find out for yourself.
