The winners of the Acqua Panna and S.Pellegrino Chef's Ski Cup were announced yesterday.
The event, which sees chefs take to the slopes of the Alpine resort of Alta Badia for a parallel ski race that's now in its eighth year, is a fun packed race that's hotly contested by the chefs involved.
Chef Rudi Obauer and his brother Karl (pictured above) came in first and second and Florian Egarter in third. The ski competition is held as part of The Chef's Cup, a five day event that's designed to showcase chefs and local producers from the unique region of Northern Italy.
The event runs until Friday 25th January with young chefs demonstrating their take on street food at high altitude on the 24th January and cooking lessons open throughout.
Pascal Piermattei, Martin Dalsass, Norbert Niederkofler, Andrea Berton and Johannes King are just a handful of the chefs demonstrating at the event.
