Knives, folding kettles, chopping boards that smile - throughout 2012 we've seen a number of interesting kitchen utensils at FDL HQ. From new product launches to future kitchen concepts there seems to be a steady stream of innovation taking place in the world of food appliances.
Then there's those items that are beautifully made like these designer carafes, items such as pans that display exquisite craftsmanship, those that are useful and even some that change the way we think about our consumption in the kitchen.
Whether it's the work of Christopher Therald who made a human powered kitchen unit fit with electronic appliances powered solely by the movement of the user. Or the Caveman Knife project from the deign studio Ami Drach and Dov Ganchrow - we love a good kitchen invention at FDL and here's some of the best from 2012.
