We've featured a range of caveman inspired knives before on FDL but not quite as traditional as these knives created by the design studio Ami Drach and Dov Ganchrow.
Presented as part of the 2012 Budapest Design Week, the knives use stone and flint, something harnessed by our ancestors, to create modern day knives for the kitchen.
The ancient looking blades are fitted with modern handles that are formed using 3d printing and scanning technology and the finished product looks amazing.
Unfortunately the knives are not currently for sale but there's nothing stopping you heading out to find a rock and begin moulding your very own - just like cavemen did so many thousands of years ago.
