The Italian chef Carlo Cracco has confirmed a move to the Trussardi alla Scala restaurant in Milan.
The chef, famous for his work on texture and flavor combinations in food, will work at the two Michelin starred restaurant as a consultant with the young Luigi Taglienti acting as executive chef.
The Scala was previously managed by the Italian chef Andrea Berton and it has not yet been confirmed if the change in chef will signify a change in the style of food served at the restaurant. There is reports online that suggest the new food will follow the tradition of haute cuisine but with more attention on value for money.
All is fine for Chef Berton who it seems is heading to open his own restaurant which will also be based in Milan. The news comes on the same day the Italian chef Moreno Cedroni announced plans to open a new restaurant in London.
