At a ceremony in Antwerp, Belgium, The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2021 list was announced, signalling a return to the top for Noma in Copenhagen. René Redzepi's famous New Nordic restaurant retains its crown in a new location, only weeks after receiving its third Michelin star. At number two is Noma's Copenhagen neighbour, Geranium, by Rasmus Kofoed, giving Danish gastronomy a starring role on the famous lis. The top ten is dominated by fine-dining restaurants in Europe and Latin America, which are joined by two restaurants from Asia.
