For dim sum - "I think this place does some of the best dim sum in Chinatown. It's pretty small and all a la carte. One of the best for dim sum in Chinatown, I think."

For classic Cantonese - "It opened recently, it's fun and it's good, we had our staff party there. Their garlic chicken is amazing, so is the shrimp and candied walnuts in a sauce of the craziest combination of ingredients. There's an old-school kitchen and a newer generation and younger crowd here than Hop Lee."

For Vietnamese bánh mì - "This is my favourite bánh mì shop. I go there to grab a sandwich, it's a grab and go spot, and it's packed all the time."

For classic traditional Chinese banquet - "Old-school all the way, from the kitchen to the staff."

For classic steamed rice noodles - "It's not a restaurant, a classic walk in grab and go joint, no seating, nothing. They have fish bowls, pork, beef and vegetarian, and all the sauces."
