Universal Studios' Willy Wonka Inspired Chocolate Factory

If you always dreamt of journeying into Roald Dahl's amazing chocolate wonderland in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, your childhood fantasies are about to get one step closer. 

Universal Studios, Orlando, have come up the next best thing, the Toothsome Chocolate Factory & Savory Feast Emporium, a restaurant/shop which will honour Willy Wonka's famous factory, with a fantastical chocolate themed menu and steampunk interior.

19th CENTURY STYLE STEAMPUNK 

Whilst the restaurant doesn't come with rivers of chocolate or everlasting gobstoppers, what Universal Studios do promise is a setting to induce Charlie Bucket style awe. Diners will be "transported into a 19th century-inspired Steampunk chocolate factory.” What's more they'll get to eat amidst 'towering smoke stacks, funky gadgetry, and staff wearing unique Steampunk fashion', and all without a winning ticket.

Needless to say, chocolate lovers will be in their element with a chocolate centric menu, plus the chance to see how the chocolate is made.

A selection of the gargantuam milkshakes will appear on the menu as follows:

Chocolate x5: An explosion of chocolate with chocolate spirals, chunks, ice-cream and whipped cream.

Bacon Brittle: A fun twist on a breakfast favorite with bacon ice cream, bacon brittle, chocolate covered bacon and bacon caramel.

Espresso Buzzzz: A coffee lover's dream with coffee ice-cream and chocolate covered beans.

Red Velvet: A milkshake topped with a Red Velvet cupcake… enough said.

Key Lime Pie: We've taken this classic Florida dessert and turned it into a delicious shake. You'll even get a slice of pie on top!

Besides chocolate desserts there will also be savoury dishes on offer, like pizzas and burgers, for those without a sweet tooth.

There is just one hitch, chocolate lovers will have to keep their excitement under wraps a little longer as the venue is due to open at the end of the year.
