The verdict is in. Denmark has won the Bocuse d'Or 2023, thanks to an impressive platter based on monkfish and a hugely convincing 'Feed the kids' menu featuring squash from A to Z.

Norway came second, whilst Hungary came third, completing the gold, silver and bronze on the Bocuse podium.
Other special prizes
This edition of the Bocuse d'Or put a lot of emphasis on social commitment, starting with the concept of 'Feed the kids', for which each team had to imagine an entire children's menu based around squash that was both balanced and fun. A jury made up of children with an average age of 10 was present to judge, eventually choosing Japan as the winner. France won the jury prize its 'Feed the kids' menu.

Elsewhere, Leon Haarberg Nilsen won the title of best commis for his work on the Norway team while Mexico was awarded a prize dedicated to social commitment.
