Food Systems Summit 2021 - Pre-Summit

The United Nations Food Systems Summit is billed by the organisation as a people’s summit that will bring together key players from the worlds of science, business, policy, healthcare and academia, as well as farmers, indigenous people, youth organisations, consumer groups, environmental activists, and other key stakeholders. 

The event will be prefaced by a pre-summit, to take place in Italy, from 19-21 July 2021. As a 'hybrid' virtual format over the course of three days, participants will continue in person at the UN Food & Agricultural Organization (FAO) in Rome, while others from around the world will be engaged on the virtual platform.
