On June 26th The Grand Final of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2015 talent search will take place over the city of Milan during Expo Milano 2015 to award emerging talents with a total of four awards: the Best Young Chef 2015 and the Best Young Designer 2015, as well as two other prizes for the best creative chef-designer couples.
The 20 chef finalists – one for each world region ─ were paired with 20 emerging designers selected by Vogue Italia to form creative teams in an unprecedented fusion of fine food and style, where each designer reinterpreted their team-mate’s dish with a fashion creation. One of the two chef-designer couple awards will be selected by the guests during the award ceremony while the other one was voted for by the online community.
In fact, from June 10th to 25th at 12 PM CEST you had the chance to submit your online vote for your favorite creative couple by going on the Vogue Italia website.
The S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2015 will be selected by an international jury of seven top chefs, including Joan Roca, Massimo Bottura, Yoshihiro Narisawa, Gaston Acurio, Yannick Alléno, Margot Janse and Grant Achatz.
A jury of renowned international fashion professionals – together with Franca Sozzani – Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Italia, Editorial Director of Condé Nast Italia and Global Ambassador against Hunger (WFP), will award the Best Stylist: Massimiliano Giorgetti, Ennio Capasa, Alberta Ferretti, Sara Maino, Marlene Taschen and Giò Marconi.
