Kristián Mensa is a 17–year–old artist from the Czech Republic currently residing in Colorado with a talent for creating whimsical art out of everyday objects and food.
"I’ve been always trying to look at things from a different perspective," he writes on BoredPanda. And we don't disagree with him. Pears become kiwis, avocados double up as effective mice ears, and a tomato as a boxing glove in just a few of his fun sketches incorporating real food.
With over 36,000 followers on his Instagram, Mr Kriss is doing something right to get his friends to keep on smiling.
It's advice we could all take notice of, after all where better to encounter the unexpected than in our everyday surroundings.
