The greater China regional final marks the closing competition in the regional heats of the gripping fourth edition of S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2019!
Ten of the best young chefs from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan will compete head to head in one of the most challenging cooking competitions of their young career, when they present their signature dishes to a chef jury in Shanghai, on November 21, 2019..

Dong Zhenxiang, Jacqueline Qiu, Lanshu Chen, Umberto Bombana and Vicky Lau are the five leading chefs tasked with the challenging job of picking the most outstanding young chef on the day who manages to demonstrate unrivalled technical skills, genuine creativity and an exceptional, strong personal belief about Gastronomy. This young chef will receive the most prestigious title of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Award!
The final winner will go forth and compete in the Grand Finale in Milan in 2020, joining the other 11 already named regional winners.
At this regional level there are also three other awards up for grabs for young chefs doing great things in gastronomy, (including one that you can vote for online!):
1. The Fine Dining Lovers Food for Thought Award
Voted for by the online Fine Dining Lovers community, for the young chefs that best represent their personal belief within their dish.
