A new app called Reserve My City aims to allow people to reserve restaurant tables at places they check into restaurants on their Foursquare to do list.
Foursquare allows people to check into venues - restaurants, cafes, work, cinema - anywhere that features their business and place on the service. The app has been around for a while now and has millions of users worldwide - but this new add on aims to connect the check in and reservation in one place.
It's still only in beta and isn't yet open to the public but it's an interesting idea and one that seems to make lots of sense - with so many people checking in and adding places to their check in to do lists the application could eventually generate lots of new revenue from customers who are finding restaurants in a whole new way.
